Following the Government’s announcement on the second national lockdown from Thursday 5 November, we would like to let you know how Bahnstormer are here to continue supporting your motorcycling needs throughout whilst operating in a safe and compliant manner.

It is important to understand during this period that we can’t offer any social or unarranged visits to our sites as much as we love seeing you!

SERVICING AND MOT

We have learnt from the initial lockdown how important it is to keep our service and MOT facility operational so that we can keep you safe and mobile.

To support you during this lockdown period we are offering the following:

a 30-mile radius free collection and delivery service (further distance collections available at a small charge)
or a free courtesy bike if you are bringing your bike to us
safe drop off and collection points at our BMW Motorrad Centres

Whilst the situation is obviously very serious, it does allow an opportunity to get your bike collected, worked on and returned with no fuss or risk. Your motorcycle will get a free health check and condition video sent to you whilst it’s with us so you know what, if anything, might need attention.

SHOWROOM

Under the Government guidelines we must close our showrooms and any sales enquiries need to be handled remotely. However, the team are here to help you answer all your questions, provide quotes, arrange finance and deliver your new or approved used BMW motorcycle right to your door. We use video extensively to help you choose the perfect motorcycle so you can buy it with complete confidence.

We currently don’t know how Brexit will affect prices but the risk of a no-deal outcome looks very possible and that will certainly impact us. BMW Motorrad UK has reacted by bringing more motorcycles into the UK in November and December, particularly the new R 1250 GS and GS Adventure. If you are considering a new bike for 2021 then take advantage of getting it sooner to potentially save you money.

PARTS AND ONLINE STORE

Our online shop has never been so busy with orders being dispatched quite literally all over the world. The reason people use us again and again is the quality of service and clarity of what is available in stock for immediate dispatch. You can also arrange ‘click and collect’ for anything you want to pick up from our safe collection area in Alton.

A massive thank you to all of you who made it down to Bahnstormer Alton and Maidenhead for the New Season Launch. We were amazed how many of you took the time to join us as we had probably every kind of weather being thrown at us from glorious sunshine to blizzards!

We unveiled six new Bahnstormer Edition bikes that certainly grabbed the attention and displayed some seriously rare classic motorcycles at the Motoline showroom. There was also rather tasty barbecues which, with your help, raised over £300 for the Air Ambulance.

We feel that we have successfully kicked 2020 into action!
