The New BMW R 18
First Edition
Finally, the all new BMW R 18 has broken cover after much salivating over the two concept models and speculation as to how the final production bike would look.
The lead model is the R 18 First Edition and, like the very successful and hugely enjoyable R nineT, it comes as a (very beautiful) blank canvas. BMW presented various combinations of accessories from full-on ape-hanger bars to a more stripped back bobber look. And again, like the 9T, the details are everywhere.
It comes in at £18,995 OTR and is available at some point in the last quarter of 2020.

Are the wire wheels shown in the picture going to be an option. They weren’t shown on BMW’s configurator.
