Motorcycle theft is something that unfortunately appears to be on the rise, especially around the London area. Chains and discs locks are a great visual deterrent but if you want to know if someone is moving your motorcycle, or you are trying to locate it after it has been stolen, then a tracking device is your best option.

BMW have partnered up with Datatool to bring you this motorcycle specific device with a very low current draw that sends an SMS message should your motorcycle be moved. If the movement continues then the TrakKING Vehicle Monitoring Team will liaise with the Police to aid your motorcycle’s recovery.

On a more practical day-to-day basis the TrakKING will warn you of a low battery and even track your trips by sending a vehicle position signal to the Cloud every two minutes. Adding the optional G-Sense feature will alert friends or family if the motorcycle is involved in an impact.

The TrakKING unit is just £350 fitted and including VAT. The subscription is £109.95 a year or £9.95 monthly.
