BMW Motorrad Connectivity
Now Complimentary On The New R 1200 GS

The latest incarnation of BMW Motorrad’s iconic big GS is absolutely stunning to ride. It is so easy to use with optional Dynamic ESA self-levelling suspension, slick Shift Assist Pro and powerful but smooth boxer engine. Even if you already run an earlier version of the GS then you really owe it to yourself to try this bike out – and now a new feature has just been released.

BMW Motorrad’s innovative Connectivity colour TFT screen boasts a wealth of useful features, most significantly that it is so easy to read important information whilst riding. Using the now familiar controller wheel on the left-hand handlebar, you can toggle between BMW Motorrad Navigator controls (if fitted) or the TFT screen and then manage your music streaming, phone calls and even a more basic navigation system all through a Bluetooth connection to your Smartphone and helmet.

For s short time only* BMW Motorrad are including this option (normally worth £595) for free on the latest 2018 R 1200 GS range (excludes the Adventure model).

Head down to Bahnstormer to book a demo on the BMW R 1200 GS and get a tour of the TFT features.

*for NEW R 1200 GS ordered from 1 January 2018 and registered by 31 March 2018. Not in conjunction with the Rookie to Rider scheme. Excludes all R 1200 GS Adventure variants.

I should think the TFT is included – my understanding is that with volume production they are actually cheaper to manufacture than analogue instrumentation

We think this could be levelled at many things, especially technology, where the cost is more in the R&D than the physical production….but then what do we know, it’s still a good offer!;)
