R 1200 R/RS LC Avant Guard Engine Protector

The conventional Avant extender cannot be fitted to the front mudguard of the R1200R/RS LC, so this engine guard has been developed by MachineArt to take over the function of a front mudguard extender.

Designed to reflect the styling of the bike, it is a front end stone and splash guard to protect the engine and exhaust headers from costly damage.

Covering the height of the engine (12.5″/325mm), it mounts to two existing screws at the top, and to the bottom of the engine case via an aluminum bracket.

At the widest point (11.5″/295mm), it overlaps the exhaust headers to reduce stone abrasion, whilst leaving sufficient clearance for cooling airflow.

• Perfectly compliments MacheArt’s MudSling for the same bikes
• Fits with the genuine BMW stainless steel engine protector bars
• Does not fit with the genuine BMW spotlights
